Here’s a list of recent thoughts from some content I've read lately:
- Kyren Williams had the softest schedule of any RB in 2023, then the toughest schedule in 2024, now he is projected to have the most improved schedule of an RB. Chuba Hubbard / Rico Dowdle have the 2nd most improved schedule. (@ RyanJ_Heath)
- Jahmyr Gibbs and Derrick Henry have the 2 schedules with the least improved
- On non-screen plays, DJ Moore had a 17% target per route run (worse of the 3), worst YPRR (1.27) and middle of the 3 receiving yards/game (42.1) in 2024. Swap out Allen (who led all 3) for Burden. I have some concerns about Moore. I’m buying low on Odunze. (@ RyanJ_Heath)
- Jaydon Blue joined a very exclusive group of 12 RBs who averaged 4.0 YPC +0.3 missed tackles forced per carry + 350 receiving yards in their final college season. Other names: Saquon, Etienne, Mixon, D Cook, CEH, Najee Harris, Bucky, K Hunt, Kamara, Z Moss and Omarion Hampton. Worth a deep dart throw. (@ GrahamBarfield)
- Roschon Johnson is nearly identical in stats/data to Jamaal Williams, who had 1,139 total yards & 17 TDs with Ben Johnson as OC. Deep target. (@ BenCumminsFF)
- Top 5 Yards Created for rookies: 1. Jeanty (6.19), 2. Harvey (5.67), 3. Tuten (5.25), 4. Hampton (5.08), 5. Judkins (4.55) - love the top 3, interested in all 5. (@ GrahamBarfield)
- QB Stats after removing screens, RPOs, spike & unblocked pressures. Here’s the top 10 by PFF grade: 1. Lamar (94.8), 2. Burrow (93.5), 3. Herbert (92.4), 4. Michael Penix Jr. (91.8), 5. Jayden Daniels (87.0), 6. Baker (85.9), 7. Josh Allen (85.9), 8. Kyler (83.6), 9. Purdy (83.4), 10. Mahomes (82.6). Removed Carr (#5). I see you Michael Penix Jr. (@ HaydenWinks)
- 164 active WRs with 100+ career targets - Rashid Shaheed leads the group with 10.4 career YPT. #2 Ladd, #3 JJ, #4, AJB, #5 Jamo. Don’t sleep on Shaheed later in drafts. Knee should be 100%. Shough will likely start Week 1 (@ SmolaDS)
- Most yards per touch since 2023 (RBs, 250+ touches): 1. Bucky, 2. Gibbs, 3. CMC. Bottom 3: 44. K Hunt, 43, Zeke, 42. Javonte Williams. I want to believe the Javonte Williams hype but I can’t. (@ FantasyPtsData)
- RBs with 5.0 YPC+ and 0.4 missed tackles forced per carry since 2016: CMC, KHunt, D Cook, Mixon, Sony, Saquon, Javonte Williams, Marshawn Lloyd. Add: Jeanty, O Hampton, Harvey, Tuten. Jeanty, O Hampton, Harvey, & Tuten are the main 4 rookie RBs I’m targeting. (@ GrahamBarfield)
- Josh Downs has run 16 pass routes (16.8%) in 1-2 WR sets the past 2 seasons, compared to Khalil Shakir (29, 9.4%) and Jayden Reed (7, 2.6%). It’s difficult to target these players when they don’t get high volume. (@ LordReebs)
- Only 7 RBs averaged 3.3 Rec/Game in 2024: Kamara (4.68), Achane (4.59), KWIII (4.18), CMC (3.75) BIjan (3.59), Breece Hall (3.55), and Chase Brown (3.38). Only Kenneth Walker didn’t finish in the top 12 FPPG. Target these top 5 RBs, but I’m not as excited about B Hall & C Brown as the others. (@ DynastyDadFF)
- Highest targets per route on horizontal breaking routes per Fantasy Pts Data: 1. Josh Downs 41%, 2. Nabers 38%, 3. D London 37%, 4. M Evans 36%, 5. Puka 33%, 6. AJ Brown 32%. Several elite players here. Anthony Richardson has been really detrimental to the horizontal passing game. Daniel Jones is much better. I’m only targeting Downs if D Jones is QB. (@ fball_insights)
